Special Order of the Day
by
Brigadier General F. G. Crozier D.S.O
Commanding 119th Infantry Brigade
Wednesday 25th April 1917

G.O.C. 119th Infantry Brigade wishes to thank all ranks of the Brigade which he has the honour to command on the success of their operations on the 21st > 24th April 1917 and to congratulate them on the valour displayed.

The gaining of all the objectives & the retention of same throughout was only made possible by the united co-operation of all & the support of the 8th Divisional Artillery.

The advance under the barrage on every occasion was as steady as a parade ground movement

The upkeep of communications left nothing to be desired throughout the operations.

(Signed) P.F.Hore
Captain
Staff Captain
119th Infantry Brigade
