Battalion in Brigade Reserve. On the night 23/24th The Battalion
relieved the 18th Welsh in the Left Subsector VILLERS PLOUICH and
the dispositions of the companies were as follows
A Coy Right
Front with D Coy in Support
C Coy Left Front with B Coy in Support
2/Lt F.P.M. PEERS and 2/Lt TREVOR DAVIES rejoined Battalion
from Base. 2/Lt Peers was posted to B Coy. 2/Lt T Davoes
to D Coy

of the Battalion vice Major R-J-ANDREWS D.S.O. M.C.

Right Subsector and B Coy relieved C Coy in Left Subsector. Patrolling
at night as usual.

Battalion in Front Line. A strong fighting patrol composed of 2
Officers (2/Lt K.L.JONES and 2/Lt D M DAVIES) and 30 O.R. - the
whole under the control of a/Captain F S HIGSON searched the area
around the CEMETERY but no trace of the enemy was found.
