CROISILLES   
Feb 1st
Bn in the Front Line System of Trenches. Hostile Artillery was Active during morning but quieted during the day. Our Artillery was also active shelling known Targets. During the day our Snipers were in "NO MANS LAND" and during the night a System of Listening posts were put out in front of the wire along the Bn Front, with Patrols reconnoitering & Searching NO MANS LAND well over towards the enemy lines.


do   Feb 2nd

Bn in the Front Line SYstem of Trenches. Hostile & Our Own Artillery fairly active. During the evening the Bn were relieved by the 18th Bn THE WELSH REGT and moved into Brigade Support at RAILWAY RESERVE. Owing to a new system of Organisation this was the last day the Bn as a Bn would be in the Front Line System of Trenches.


do   Feb 3rd

Bn were in Billets in RAILWAY RESERVE as Bn in Bde Support. The men were employed in furnishing working parties to clean & repair the Front Line System of Trenches, when they returned to their Dug Outs they cleaned themselves after their tour of duty in the Trenches
