In front trenches. About 5 a.m. a man was seen crawling towards a post of the right Company from 'No Mans Land'. He entered our trenches and was found to be a deserter from the 1st Company No 6 Reserve Inf Rgt. 9th Division (Bavarian). He was sent on to
Bde H. Q.

The Battalion was a relieved by the 11th Bn. K. O. L. R. and marched to MAUREPAS Cross Roads - thence to Camp 21 by lorries. The relief was complete at 8.30 p.m.
