CROISILLES SECTOR

2/Lt
K.L.Jones appointed as Captain whilst in charge of a company
do 15th
Bn in the Front Line Trenches. Hostile Artillery fairly quiet. Trenches
in a fairly good condition but owing to rain & thaw there was a fair
amout of water about. C.T.'s were in fairly good order but showed signs
of caving in in places which grew worse as the day progressed and during
the night. Patrols were ale to go out at dusk and remained out watching
and searching the Bn front until dawn.
2/Lt W.E.NORRIS killed whilst on duty in the Front Line
Trench
through the collapse of a Trench Shelter which had been erected
in
one of the Posts (No 28)
Lt H.E.CHRISTY posted as Transport Officer to the 119th
M.G. Coy.
2/Lt R.A.GRAY takes over compand of "A" Coy
during the absence of
2/Lt K.L.JONES M.C. (on leave)
Inter Company relief
