CROISILLES (SECTOR)
JAN 25th

   Bn in the Front Line our Artillery were fairly active firing on COPSE ROAD & Working Parties along COPSE TRENCH. HENDECOURT also received their attention. Hostile Artillery was active & shelled our C.T.'s and Left Front Line Coy's H.Q.s where men were at work clearing the Trench of mud. We suffered casualties to the extent of 1 killed and 2 wounded. A fair amoount of movement was observed in enemy lines & which was fired upon either by rifle or Artillery fire.

This Bn was relieved during the evening by the 18th Bn The WELSH REGt and proceeded to MORY (NORTH CAMP) as Bn in Brigade reserve


MORY
26th

Bn as Bn in Brigade reserve at MORY (NORTH CAMP). During the morning men were allowed time to clean themselves and their equipment.

Under Coy arrangements men were marched off to the Baths at MORY. LIEUT. COLONEL F.E.BRADSHAW left the Bn and was succeeded by MAJOR SWEET.

27th

Bn at MORY (NORTH CAMP) as Bn in Brigade reserve. During the morning the men paraded for Divine Service & 2 Coys for C.O.'s inspection. "A" Coy also went to the Musketry Range. In the afternoon the remaining 2 Coys were paraded for C.O.'s inspection. In the evening a large working party of 5 Officers and 200 O.R. were sent up to C.7.a.8.8 to dig trenches.
