MORY JAN 28th
Bn
at MORY (NORTH CAMP) as Bn in Brigade Reserve. During the day the
men under Coy arrangements were marched off to the Baths to undergo the
Foot treatment as laid down by Brigade Order. Men employed during the
afternoon doing work in and around the Camp. In the evening the Bn Band
gave an Entertainment which was quite a success.
do 29th
Bn at MORY (North Camp). Batallion inspected by Colonel R.
Benzie of the 12th S.W.Bs a/c Brigadier General of the 119th Infantry
Brigade in close order & at drill. The afternoon was devoted to cleaning
up of Quarters and themselves. The Bn moving forward at 4.30 p.m. to relieve
the 18th Bn The WELSH REGt who were holding the line. The Relief
was carried out without mishap. "B" & "D" Coys
in the Front Trench.

Bn holding the Front Line System of Trenches. Hostile Artillery was
active in the early morning. Our Artillery was quiet. The Bn Front was
patrolled during the night and also Listening Posts were pushed out well
in Front of wire. No hostile movement was noted.

Bn holding the Front Line System of Posts & Trenches. Hostile
Artillery was active during the the morning shelling our C.T.'s. Our
