was directed on our front line and on MORGAN trench. Boyau 214 and MORGAN trench were badly damaged.
 Casualties Lt T. Wallace and 11 O.R. wounded.

CALONNE    31/7/16
A large number of winged grenades fell on our lines around about Boyau 214. All them bear July date. Our Snipers claim 3 hits about M.20.b.8.7 and M.20 b.9.5½

Capt. Sheppard, wounded 9/7/16, rejoined the Battalion.
