C   Coy in Sunken Raod Q 30 b 7. 1 with B.H.Q A, B, & D. companies in FIFTEEN RAVINE

                          -- do --    2 small officer's patrols were attached to the 18th Welsh in the Front Line with the object of learning the Front and the nature of the enemy defences - One patrol went out from the right company front and one from the left company front

Batt in Bde Support - all companies working on Front Line at night and making gooseberries by day. Three small officer's patrols went out at night to learn the nature of NO MAN'S LAND . Two patrols were attached to the 18th Welsh and 1 patrol to the 12th S.W.B. The patrol which was attached to the 12th S.W.B. came into contact with the enemy and 2 O.R. were wounded
