Batt in Bde Support on the night 11/12th June the Batt. relieved the 18th Welsh in the LEFT SUBSECTOR of the VILLERS PLOUICH sector of the LINE. The disposition of the companies was as follows:-

A. Coy. on the right with D Coy in Support
B. Coy. on the left    with C Coy in Support   B.H.Q was located in
FIFTEEN RAVINE

Battalion in Front LIne. Officer's patrols went out each night from both of the compny fronts with the object of reconnoitring No MAN'S LAND and the hostile wire.

Batt. in Front Line - Officer's patrols went out again at night from each Coy front & the patrol from the Left Company came into contact with the enemy on the night 13/14th with the result that 2 O.R. were wounded and were safely brought back.

The following Inter - Company relief took place at night. "C" Coy. relieved "B" in the Front Line on the left and "D" Coy relieved "A" Coy on the right.
