Right half Battalion marched out of AISNE BARRACKS, BLACKDOWN for entraining at FRIMLEY.

Battalion detrained at SOUTHAMPTON DOCKS. Strength 35 Officers, including Chaplain, and other ranks 995 including 4 A.S.C. Drivers attached.

The Commanding Officer, Adjutant, eight other officers and 135 other ranks embarked on SS CITY OF BENARES.

The second in command and remainder of the Battalion embarked on SS CONNAUGHT.

Both ships left SOUTHAMPTON WATER during night 2/3 June 1916.

HAVRE    3/6/16
The Battalion disembarked during the morning of 3/6/16, marched to No 5 REST CAMP, HAVRE and there spent the night.

Capt C.T.YOUNG and Sec Lt G.R.JACKMAN attached to HQ 119th Inf. Bde.

HAVRE    4/6/16
The Battalion, less 'A' Coy and M - G Section No 1,entrained at HAVRE, Point 3, leaving at 8.5 en route for LILLERS.

'A' Coy and No 1 M - G Section entrained at HAVRE, Point 1, leaving at 10.5 also en route to LILLERS

LILLERS   5/6/16
Battalion, less 'A' Coy and M - G Section No 1, arrived LILLERS at 1.30 and proceeded by march route to take up billets at St. HILAIRE.

'A' Coy and M - G Section no 1, arrived LILLERS at 3.10 and also proceeded to billets in St. HILAIRE.

Billets were occupied by 6.30
