disposition of Coys as follows. 'B' 'C' & 2 platoons D Coy in MAUD AVENUE, two platoons D Coy in WURZEL AVENUE and CLERY CHATEAU, two platoons 'A' Coy at Bn. H. Q. MADELEINE left Bn, two platoons in MERLIN TRENCH.

Our Artillery shelled the enemy's back areas during the day and night. M .G's and T.M' s silent. The enemy shelled our line with 77 mm shells at M.12.d.8.2. Enemy's T.M.'s fired into our right and Centre Companies at intervals during the night.
