RIGHT SUBSECTOR CLERY SECTOR
11.3.17

Our Artillery was active throughout the day and night.  Enemy shelled our left Coy H. Q. (I.7.a.8) during the morning.  Hostile gas shells fell in vicinity of Right Coy H. Q. at 5 p.m. 10:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. Our Artillery effectively retaliated.

Enemy's  Artillery was active during the day along our front.  Our Artillery effectively retaliated on enemy's front & Support lines at 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Our machine guns were very active during the night, firing at openings in enemy's  wire.

Casualties.  1. O.R

The Battalion relieved the 19th R. W. F. in Brigade Support.  Bn. H. Q. at   P. C. MERTON.

 


SUPPORT CLERY SECTOR
13.3.17   to  15.3.17

The Battalion in Support Capt A. E. GRANT & 2 Lt J. L. HUGHES re-joined from Hospital.

2/Lt C. S. THOMAS joined the Bn. for duty and posted to 'A' Coy.
Casualties  2.  O.R.

Whilst in Support all available men were employed on fatigue.  The Battalion was relieved at 11:45 p.m. 15 3/17 by the 12th Suffolk Regt.  On completion of relief Battalion marched via FRISE - SUZANNE - to Camp 17

Casualties NIL.


CAMP 17    16.3.17

The Battalion in Divisional  Reserve.  At 7 p.m. the Battalion was ordered to move next day to Camp 162
