The Battalion employed in cleaning up for G.O.C inspection.  The inspection was cancelled & orders were received to prepare for move to HAUT - ALLAINES the next day.

The Battalion proceeded by march route to HAUT - ALLAINES.

The Bn. band played at intervals  en route.  We relieved the 13th East Surreys in outpost positions. Casualties NIL



HAUT-ALLAINSE   21.3.17
Battalion occupying outpost positions.  (Line of resistance) Outpost line  in front held by 18th Welsh.  Orders received to the effect that this Battalion would form the Infantry Battalion of a mobile column, consisting in addition of the XVth Corps Mounted Troops (Wilts Yeomanry), 4 Guns (18 pdrs), Section Ammn Column, 1 platoon pioneers.  The whole under command of Brig.  Gen.  Crozier

Casualties nil.
