After the operations in LA VAQUERIE, the Battalion assembled in Quarry in R. 25 d for the Roll Call & then marched back to DESSART WOOD arriving about 7 a.m. The remainder of the day was spent in resting and cleaning up. At 8.30 p.m. the Battalion again moved forward to GOUZEAUCOURT to take up positions in Brigade close support in the old main line of resistance and the dispositions of the battalion was as follows:

'A' Coy in sunken road at Q 30 b 5.2
'C' Coy in Quarry in R. 25 d
'B' Coy in Fifteen Ravine R. 19. d 'B' company on left 'D' to the right
'D' --------- " ------------------------

B.H.Q. in N.End of GOUZEAUCOURT at Q. 30 D. 9.8

Casualties Major R. J. ANDREWS M.C. and 2 Lt W.J. MOULD
slightly wounded and at duty
