Battalion in Brigade Close Support. Men employed in erecting shelters and improving billets. "C" & "D" companies furnished working parties at night for digging Front Line trenches under R.E. supervision.

Battalion in Brigade close support. All four companies - "A"- B - C & D employed at night in working on the Front Line system of trenches under R.E. supervision.

Experimental Rockets were fired at 9.30 p.m. from the Front Line trenches and this battalion rendered a report as to visibility; which was good. Major ANDREWS left the Battalion to take over the temporary command of the 19th R.W.F. in DESSART WOOD.
