from Divisional front x x x x Advanced HQs of Div will open at HAVRINCOURT CHATEAU at 8 pm tonight - Rear Headquarters will close, BEAUMETZ at 8 pm and open at NEUVILLE - BOURSON VAL at same hour -

Capt WARD SMITH RAMC detailed for transporting duty into 136 FA.

Message received from ADMS "In confirmation of telegram Move at once to TRESCAULT with all remaingin personnel equipment and transport" (original telegram not received) Ambulance left LE TRANSLOY at 8.30 pm

Received message while on march at YTRES from ADMS - "send one M.O. to HAVRINCOURT at once". Capt J CRAWFORD despatched - also an order to send Bearer Division and two Tent sub divisions at once to report at office of ADMS HAVRINCOURT - when they will be sent up to GRAINCOURT to reinforce 137th Field Ambulance - as many stretchers and dressings as possible shouldbe carried - three officers should be sent


TRESCAULT   24th  2. am

Arrived at TRESCAULT 2 a.m (Road traffic much congested) - Message received from ADMS "send all available personnel to report to this office at once." Equipment of personnel dumped - SUrgical haversacks - shell dressing haversacks etc distributed and personnel including all Medical Officers despatched to HAVRINCOURT - Blankets and stretchers
