RIGHT LOOS    28-10-16
The raid which was due to take place on the left of the line tonight was pos cancelled and Lt BADHAM and 12 O.R went out at 8:45 p.m. with the intention of engaging the Bosch covering party which has been reported protecting the enemy wirers for the past three nights. This fighting patrol waited out until 1 a.m. . but as no Bosche covering party put in an appearance they had to return to our own trenches without having accomplished anything.

Casualties :- Nil

 

RIGHT LOOS  LES BREBIS   29-10-16
Battalion was relieved in the Right Loos Sector by the 7th NORTHANTS. Relief complete 1.45 p.m.

Battalion then moved into Billets in the B Area LES BREBIS.

Orders received for the move on the 31st [this order not in Oct 1916 folder - GGD]

Casualties :- Nil
