Battalion in front line. On the night 16/17th Sept the Battalion was relieved by the 18th Welsh Regt. and on completion of relief moved into Brigade Reserve. The disposition of the companies was as follows:--   "A" Coy   & B.H.Q in GOUZEAUCOURT  -  TRESCAULT Rd.   Q 30. d. 8. 8    "C"  &  "B"  Coys near QUENTIN MILL   in R31d.    "D" Coy in Sunken Rd in   Q29.d.   2/Lt K.L.Jones reported back from Musketry Course.
