Battalion relieved 19th Bn. R.W.F. in the right subsection LOOS.

Dispositions
  'A' Coy.   from HAYMARKET inclusive to Boyau 33 inclusive, 'C' Coy.  thence to Boyau 38 exclusive, 'D' Coy from Boyau 38 inclusive to PICCADILLY inclusive.  'B' Coy in Support in the ENCLOSURE.

One of the 3 dugouts in support line of centre Coy.  completely blown in result being that Platoons in support have insufficient accommodation.  Arrangements were made to send 1 platoon down to the ENCLOSURE for rest during the day.

2/9/16   
Very heavy bombardment of our front and support lines by enemy artillery and heavy T. M.  portions of Support Line beaten flat and communication trenches between Support and Front Lines badly damaged.

Casualties  1 O.R  killed  and  1 O.R wounded.

3/9/16   
Enemy artillery and Heavy T.M. action.

Enemy  working parties very busy in their front line trenches and behind their wire.
These parties were dispersed by  L - Guns and Rifle Grenades.  Losses inflicted unknown but all work stopped.

Casualties  -  1 O.R wounded.

4/9/16
Enemy Artillery and T.M.  activity, , confined to our Front & Support Lines between HARTS & HARRISONS craters.  Boyaux connecting Front & Support Lines almost
